Chair Honn called meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

APPROVAL OF THE FEBRUARY 21, 2013, REGULAR SESSION MINUTES

MOTION: A motion was made by Commissioner Stankiewicz and seconded by Commissioner Leonhart approve the February 21, 2013, Regular Session Minutes with no changes.

Motion carried, 5-0.

  UPCOMING MEETINGS AND EVENTS

 
Paul Jungen, Stormwater Engineer, reported on the upcoming events. 
-Buffelgrass "Pull" - April 13, 2013.
-El Dia De Agua, Sponsored by UofA - April 10, 2013.
-Farmers Market Outreach scheduled for May 18, 2013 at Steam Pump Ranch.
-Arizona Flood Plain Management Association Spring Conference is scheduled for May 1 thru May 3, 2013.
-Pima Association of Government 2013 Seminar on Stormwater Regulations for the Construction  Industry is scheduled for May 8, 2013.
 
CALL TO THE AUDIENCE - At this time, any member of the public is allowed to address the Commission on any issue not listed on today?s agenda.  Pursuant to the Arizona Open Meeting
Law, individual Commission members may ask Town staff to review the matter, ask that the matter be placed on a future agenda, or respond to criticism made by speakers.  However, the Stormwater Utility Commission may not discuss or take legal action on matters raised during ?Call to the Audience.? In order to speak during ?Call to the Audience? please specify what you wish to discuss when completing the blue speaker card.
 
There were no speakers.

  DISCUSS AND APPROVE STORMWATER CREDIT APPLICATIONS

 
There were no Stormwater Credit Applications to discuss or to approve at this time.
 
4.

  DISCUSS STORMWATER FINANCIALS

 
Mr. Jungen reviewed and discussed the Stormwater Financials.
-Discussed Work Study Session that was held on March 13, 2013.
-Another Work Study Session has been scheduled for April 23, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. location to be determined.

  DISCUSS ON-GOING STORMWATER PROJECTS

 
Mr. Jungen discussed the on-going Stormwater Projects.
 
Mr. Michael Stankiewicz, Stormwater Commissioner, was in FEMA Headquarters in Washington, DC. He spoke with Luis Rodriguez, Chief of Engineering Management Branch, Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administration, Federal Energency Management Agency.  Mr. Stankiewicz spoke with Mr. Rodriguez regarding the discovery report.

  SET APRIL MEETING DATE/TIME

 
The next Stormwater Commission meeting has been scheduled for April 25, 2013 at 4 p.m., location to be determined.
 
7.

  SET APRIL PROPOSED AGENDA ITEMS

 
The agenda items for the April 25, 2013 meeting were discussed and approved with the following changes:

Add item 2 to read - Introduction of Fernando (Fritz) Laos, Civil Engineer.
Re-word item 1 to read - Approval of Past Regular and/or Work Study Session Minutes. 
Re-word agenda item that reads Upcoming Meeting and Events to be read as Meeting and Events Updates.
 
ADJOURNMENT
 
MOTION: A motion was made by Vice Chair Parker and seconded by Commissioner Leonhart adjourn the meeting at 4:52 p.m.

Motion carried, 5-0.
