Chair Eggerding called the Conceptual Design Review Board Regular Session to order at 6:00 PM.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Chair Eggerding led the Board and Audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.

CALL TO AUDIENCE - at this time, any member of the public is allowed to address the Board on any issue not listed on today’s agenda.  Pursuant to the Arizona Open Meeting law, individuals Board members may ask Town staff to review the matter, ask that the matter be placed on a future agenda, or respond to criticism made by speakers.  However, the Conceptual Design Review Board may not discuss or take legal action on matters raised during "Call to Audience."  In order to speak during "Call to Audience" please specify what you wish to discuss when completing the blue speaker card.

MOTION: A motion was made by Harold Linton, Member and seconded by Nathan Basken, Member to approve the April 8, 2014 Regular Session meeting minutes, and to review the April 24, 2014 Study Session minutes at a later time was

Rosevelt then distributed an email received from Mr. Bill Adler, relating his concerns regarding the visibility by the front door of the homes.

Applicant Representative from Maracay Homes reviewed the application information for the Board and audience.

MOTION: A motion was made by Bruce Wyckoff, Vice Chairman and seconded by Kit Donley, Member to approve OV1314-02, approval of the request shall be limited to the lots shown on Attachment 2 was

PLANNING UPDATE (INFORMATIONAL ONLY)

Chad Daines, Principal Planner, reviewed the following information for the Board members:

Please welcome two new CDRB board members, Jacob Herrington and Sarah Chen.

Staff has created a Staff Contact list which is being distributed to Board members.

Town Council will be on summer recess from July 16, 2014 through August 30, 2014. The first session after summer break will be September 3, 2014.

June 16 there is a neighborhood meeting regarding the Kai Property Rezoning. The property is located east of First Ave between Tangerine Rd. and Palisades Rd. The neighborhood meeting is to be held at Resurrection Lutheran Church at 6:00 PM.
