CALL TO ORDER AT OR AFTER 3:00 PM

Chair Adler called the Board of Adjustment Regular Session to order at 3:00 PM.

CALL TO THE AUDIENCE - AT THIS TIME, ANY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC IS ALLOWED TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON ANY ISSUE NOT LISTED ON TODAY’S AGENDA. PURSUANT TO THE ARIZONA OPEN MEETING LAW, INDIVIDUAL BOARD MEMBERS MAY ASK TOWN STAFF TO REVIEW THE MATTER, ASK THAT THE MATTER BE PLACED ON A FUTURE AGENDA, OR RESPOND TO CRITICISM MADE BY SPEAKERS. HOWEVER, THE BOARD MAY NOT DISCUSS OR TAKE LEGAL ACTION ON MATTERS RAISED DURING "CALL TO AUDIENCE." IN ORDER TO SPEAK DURING "CALL TO AUDIENCE" PLEASE SPECIFY WHAT YOU WISH TO DISCUSS WHEN COMPLETING THE BLUE SPEAKER CARD.

*3.  REQUEST FOR VARIANCES FROM SECTION 29.4 AND FROM THE FRONT AND SIDE SETBACKS ESTABLISHED BY SECTION 23.4 OF THE ORO VALLEY ZONING CODE REVISED FOR R1-144 ZONED PROPERTY TO ALLOW AN ENCLOSED GARAGE TO BE CONSTRUCTED ABUTTING THE SIDE AND FRONT PROPERTY LINES FOR A PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8310 N. Roger Lecy, property owner of 8310 N. Verde Catalina Dr., explained he would like to build the garage to house his tools, motorcycle, etc. Mr. Lecy lives in Oro Valley about 8 months a year and would like to protect his things while he is away. Mr. Lecy also provided photos (4) for the Board Members to review. Mr. Lecy was available to answer questions posed by the Board.

Item 1 Election of Officers

MOTION: A motion was made by Member Shoeppach and seconded by Vice Chair Dankwerth to approve to elect Bill Adler as Chairman, effective February 24, 2015 - January 26, 2016.

MOTION carried, 4-0.

MOTION: A motion was made by Member Shoeppach and seconded by Chairman Adler to approve to elect Helen Dankwerth as Vice Chairman, effective February 24, 2015 - January 26, 2016.

MOTION carried, 4-0.
