Jake Boen, representing Mike Renner and Marian Solomon, stated the proposed garage is situated in the lowest elevation of all of the buildings on the property. Mr. Boen provided sample images which detailed the proposed variance.
Al Coons, resident of Oro Valley, spoke in support of the variance. His only concern was how it would impact the other houses.
MOTION: A motion was made by Member Shoeppach and seconded by Member Bohl to approve

Rosevelt Arellano, Senior Planner, provided a Planning Update which included the following information:
January 6, 2016, Town Council will hear two cases previously heard by the Board of Adjustment: Verde Catalina Townhomes Planned Area Development and Bailey's Final Plat.
January 20, 2016, Town Council will hear two cases - one case regarding Neighborhood Meeting Zoning Code amendment and the other is for the Stone Canyon Casitas Final Plat.
The Board of Adjustment Special Session Meeting Tuesday, January 26 will hopefully include an introduction of a new Board member.
There are no neighborhood meetings scheduled at this time.
