Timeline for proposed Veterans Cemetery presentation.
Since 2017 the County has worked with the State of New Mexico Land Office, the Veterans Administration, the State’s Congressional delegation and others to get the new Veterans Cemetery located on lands within the County. This report gives the Commission a timeline on the efforts of the County to get the VA to use lands within the County. Another site in Bernalillo County was selected.
